Berkshire 1579 Sandalfoot Stockings

In its heyday around 1980, Berkshire was one of the most recognized names in vintage stockings in department and hosiery stores. Of all the styles made, two styles (154 RHT and 1579 Sandalfoot) stood out and were highly prized for their quality, sheer appearance and super silky feel. We have saved the 1579 sandalfoot stockings for 20 years and are now offering them to you. The 15 denier  ultrasheer nylon has a tight flat knit weave and has that characteristic shine line when worn. The heel and toe are sheer. If you enjoy the Hanes vintage stockings for it's silky feel, these have the same feel and sheer appearance. Most are sealed in original cello packaging. Sizes range from 10 thru 11 (many are in long lengths) in 6 colors. Price will vary with size/color.
