Star Flat Knit Blackfoot Stocking
Description
Vintage 'blackfoot' full fashioned stockings from the Star hosiery mill. The fully reinforced foot is the color black from toe to heel. The dark black seam travels from the cuban heel to the top of the stocking. Ultrasheer, shiny, silky flat knit nylon weave, 15 denier, 51 gauge. Star ink imprint on most pairs. Size 11 long has no ink imprint on welt. These have no 'give' or stretch at all. It is critical that you know your size. The size 11 long stocking is 37 inches in length. These are 60 years old and quite fragile.
