Star Flat Knit Blackfoot Stocking
Description
Vintage 'blackfoot' full fashioned stockings from the Star hosiery mill. The fully reinforced foot is the color black from toe to heel. The dark black seam travels from the cuban heel to the top of the stocking. Ultrasheer, silky flat knit nylon weave, 15 denier. Star ink imprint on most pairs. Size 9 long is 33 inches in length. These have no 'give' or stretch at all. It is critical that you know your size. These are 60 years old and quite fragile.
