Fancyfoot Racetrack Outline Stocking

Up for sale are TWO pairs of size 9 1/2 long authentic full fashioned 'fancyfoot' vintage stocking from the 1950's with the 'racetrack' outline pattern. This type of stocking is widely catagorized as a "Fancyfoot" style because of the beautiful ornate designs which made their appearance in the 1950's. Cuban (square tipped) heel, fully reinforced foot is outlined with an ornate design which extends up the heel to the square tipped 'cuban heel'. This is a fully fashioned black seamed stocking in the smooth, slippery flat knit weave. Very sheer at 15 denier, the color 'Rose Lustre' is a light tan color. The actual color is much darker than the photos shown here (due to a very light background). Tangolita imprint on welt. The size is 9 1/2 long and is 33 inches in length (mid heel to top of welt). We are offering these in the Bargain Basement due to a color 'blem' at the top fold on one pair. The second pair has a black spot on the welt and fading of the color at the top of the welt. These are 60 to 70 years old and VERY delicate. There is no stretch to the nylon; please be sure of your size when ordering. The price is for TWO pairs.
