Berkshire 1579 Kicks Sandalfoot Stockings

Berkshire 'Kicks' are a knockoff of the Berkshire 1579 style. Instead of selling by 'stocking size' (like 10 long, 11 medium), these are sold by the letter designation for size. We opened them and see they are the same sandalfoot stocking but with a few differences: they lack the scalloped edge (at the top of the welt) and there is no ink imprint on the welt. And the famous 'C/D' is not embroidered on the welt. The sticker on this style indicate they were being sold at markdown in the Berkshire 'Outlet' stores. The 15 denier ultrasheer nylon has a flat knit weave and has that characteristic shine line when worn. The heel and toe are sheer. The available size is 'D' which fits up to 5'10" (or taller if slender). Length of size 'D' is 37 inches (will stretch to 38 inches when gartered). If you enjoy the Hanes vintage stockings for it's silky feel, these have the same silky feel. At this time only the 'Ivory' color is available.
