Penneys 60/15 FK Dark Seamed FF Stocking

If we travel back to the 1970's you may remember seeing a rotating metal rack filled with Penney's vintage stockings. These are from that era and they are 50 years old. These are the hard to find 60 gauge, 15 denier flat knit full fashioned vintage stockings. They are dark seamed (see photo for a closeup of the dark seam) nylons in the original two pair cello packaging. We are selling them singly by the pair. If you buy two pairs, we will send them undisturbed in the original cello package. Available only in size 10 1/2 medium in the 'Gala' color (a beige to almost bronze color). Green and white ink imprint on the welt. The higher gauge typically has a silkier feel and imparts that nice shine when light reflects off the leg. Made in a non stretch flat knit weave, the black seam will surely attract attention. We consider these some of the higher quality nylons of the era and are quite rare.
