Hanes Flat Knit Sandalfoot Vintage Stocking

Hanes vintage stockings are one of the most sought after stockings in the world. If you lived in the 1970's and 1980's you can remember walking into the department store and buying a box of three in the characteristic olive colored hosiery box. After collecting and storing these beauties for almost three decades, you now have the opportunity to walk into 'our store' and buy them once again! This is the 15 denier sandalfoot style 615 which has a nude heel and toe. Each pair has a colored 'picot stripe' at the very top of the welt which Hanes used to designate sizes: Green for 'long', white for 'medium' and blue for 'short'. The tight 'flat knit' weave has no stretch and is silky smooth to the touch. When gartered, these impart a nice sheen on the leg. There is no stretch at all so please be sure of your size before ordering. Very rare! And very elegant! These are extremely hard to find and quite delicate. Note: Price will vary with size.
