Another true authentic full fashioned black seamed stocking from the 1950’s era! Made at a well known hosiery mill located in the New England corridor that was a hotbed for vintage stockings in the years gone by, these were sold under the ‘Ideal’ brand name. Yes, the characteristics of the full fashioned stocking are all here....the black seam, keyhole and fully reinforced foot. The nylon is a slippery smooth, shiny, flat knit weave in the ultrasheer 51 gauge, 15 denier and is super sheer and thin. These have that shine that vintage stockings are known for. There is almost no stretch to these so sizing them properly to your leg is very important. The dark black seam down the back has long been a favorite of glamour photographers and pinup models around the world. A note about the lengths….none of the sizes are very long. Most are 32 or 33 inches in length and are not suitable for gals taller than 5’6”. Email or call our salespeople for specific sizing needs.
