Star 15 Denier 51 Gauge Self Seamed FF Stocking

Vintage full fashioned seamed stocking from Star, a high quality manufacturer of vintage hose from Philadelphia in the USA. A sexy, thin 'self seam' adorns a very sheer 15 denier, 51 gauge all nylon leg. A "self seam" is created by gathering the nylon (same color as the leg) and sewing it down the back of the leg. The white stockings will have a white seam. The other colors will have a seam slightly darker than the leg color. A subtle and sexy look! Made of that silky flat knit nylon weave with the cuban heel, keyhole and full foot reinforcement. Most of the selections have the emerald green stripe around the welt. For collectors, these will have the ‘notched heel’ (shown in 3rd picture). The pairs without the green stripe have a smooth outline down the cuban heel. First quality with Star imprint on welt. There is NO stretch to these; be sure of your size before ordering! A popular choice among glamour (movie) stars in the 1950's.
