Vintage Picot Top Demi Toe Flat Knit Stocking (Hanes Look-a-like)

One of the ‘All Time’ best selling vintage stocking has been the Hanes ultrasheer with the colored picot stripe at the top. This is the demi toe version (nude heel) by another manufacturer (there is no ink imprint on the welt). They are packaged in the 'Parklane' gold cello package and marked ‘irregular’. We determined only the sizing was irregular; the stockings have no visible defects. They have all the characteristics as the Hanes ultra sheer does...... the colored picot stripe at the top of the stocking, ornate diamond pattern woven under the welt and that slippery, silky feel. The colors of the picot welt indicate stocking length that Hanes used: Blue for 'Short", White for 'Medium' and Green for 'Long'. These did not perfectly adhere to that scheme; we indicated the color for each item so you will know which one to order if you have a preference. These are 15 denier, flat knit and will have a nice 'shine' when worn. If you have a wide foot or large leg, you MUST order a half size larger. These have absolutely NO STRETCH to them. Your wardrobe would not be complete without a nude heel stocking to go with those sexy mules or slingbacks!
The 'Graphite' color is very close to 'Off Black' (much, much darker than it appears in our photos).
